Elizabeth Howell Hanano
Elizabeth Howell Hanano is a writer living in Annapolis, Maryland, with her husband, two children, and two Cavalier King Charles puppies. She is originally from Philadelphia. Go Birds.
She formerly worked in finance, where she learned to build financial models, research companies, and sleep under her desk. She later served as lead editor of Toptal’s Finance Blog, writing and editing work on venture capital, startups, valuation, crypto, and women-founded businesses.
Elizabeth has been writing personal essays and humor for friends and family for decades and has only recently become brave enough to share them with strangers. Her latest essay will appear in Little Old Lady Comedy, a distinction of which she is embarrassingly proud.
